Houston, we have a problem....

We got up at 4:30am this morning in Knoxville and made our way to the airport. It wasn't very busy. We boarded our plane and took off at about 7:00am, as planned. I am so proud of my mom and Ethan. They did so well today. Ethan fell asleep after take off and slept until we got off the plane at Houston. My mom enjoyed the flight. She actually did look out the window to my surprise, and she liked it!

We made it to Houston just in time to find out that our flight to San Francisco was delayed 2 hrs. due to fog. When we finally got on the plane we taxied out to the runway and had to sit there. Why you ask? Well, as it turns out we were in the middle of a tornado warning. We sat there for an hour. We watched it rain, really hard, and we watched it hail. Kevin was watching a movie and mom wasn't really looking out the window, so I was the only one that really knew what was going on. It was pretty scary.

When we finally took off we had a smooth flight to San Francisco. We landed at about 4pm eastern time. We got our rental car, which took over an hour, and found our hotel. Our hotel is super nice! Its right on the water, and its beside the airport. So we get to see all kinds of air planes land. Ethan really loves that! Here are some pics from the room.

We are resting tonight. We are absolutely exhausted. We have no idea what we are gonna do tomorrow. So, stay tuned!!
